Dada
Dada is the movement in art and literature that was founded in Switzerland in the early twentieth century. Dada artists shared an antimilitaristic and antiaesthetic attitude, generated in part by the horrors of World War I and in part by a rejection of accepted canons of morality and taste. Dada spirit can be seen in the works of Duchamp, Man Ray, Hoch, Miro, and Picasso.
